Key Stage 4 Masterclass

This year Theale Green Community School will be providing Stage Combat Masterclasses for Key Stage Three led by Actor in Residence,
Jonathan Shelley. Jonathon Shelly specialises in stage and screen combat directing. He has worked extensively for the history channel, E15 Drama School and is the artistic director of Workswell Productions.
Additionally , he has worked with the school on various occasions bringing a Theatre in Education performance of The Normans, running workshops at local primary schools and directing stage fights in the school production of Hamlet.

During these masterclasses, students will learn the fundamentals of unarmed stage combat, drama and comedy in stage combat, and character and narrative - acting through the storey of fight. This will be a fun, unique and challenging experience for students to work with a professional.

Students who attended classes last year will progress
to the next stages of combat!
