Year 10 students had the opportunity to create an oil painting from still life, inspired by the great Impressionist movement. The students were given five, one and a half hour lessons to capture the essence of the Impressionist style, through the use of light and colour, creating forms whilst experimenting with brushwork. They also learnt and mastered new painting techniques using oils, with impressive results!
