Drama is a very popular subject at Theale Green Community School.
We aim to deliver a subject that is academically rigorous, grounded in theatre history and practice, as well as being fun and exciting.
Drama builds confidence, helps to develop communication and presentation skills and enables a student to work as part of a team.
Drama is a dynamic and exciting way of learning.
Students will be taught:
How to create a performance
How to play a character
How to work as part of a team
How to respond to and critique a performance using subject specific terminology
How to use different drama skills to communicate with an audience
Theatre history and drama theory
