English Literature Examination Work

You will sit one English Literature examination:

3. English Literature exam - Two hours, two questions, 70% of total marks

Section A: 20th Century Prose:     King of the Castle 35%

Section B: Poetic Themes:        Hearts and Partners 35%

It is most important to note the percentages covered by each section of the paper. Notice, for instance, that the Poetic Themes section for English Literature counts for 35% of your final mark - that's more than your entire English Literature coursework folder! However, the Poems from Other Cultures and Traditions section for English only counts for 7.5%. So you should obviously spend much more time preparing, revising and practising for the Poetic Themes section!
