ICT COMPULSORY HOMEWORK: NON FICTION

Using the information you gain from internet research and your own knowledge, create a leaflet about Reading and the surrounding areas for people your own age from the United States.

(Some of you may wish to create a web page instead!)

Your leaflet should be produced using IT programmes.

Search the internet for information about Reading, (use keywords Theale Village (Reading), Reading, Tilehurst etc)

Make sure that you include the web sites you use on your leaflet or as links if you are creating a web page.

You must make the leaflet or website as interesting as possible, include information about:

• Things to do
• History
• Places to go
• What people are like in Reading
• Hangouts
• And much more!

Use the type of emotive language that you have learnt about in class - to remind you look at the KEYWORDS.

Email the URL or your work as an attachment to your teacher. Include your name, teaching group and READING LEAFLET in the subject box. Don’t forget to keep a copy of your work!
