ORIGINAL WRITING COURSEWORK
Over the duration of the two year course you will be asked to complete several pieces of original writing. This section of the course allows you to explore your own creative and descriptive writing. It is a great way to pick up marks for your Language folder.
When you first arrive on the course you might be asked to write an autobiographical piece from a variety of stand points; you will then use the beneficial Work Experience Week to gather yet more personal and creative writing. There are plenty of opportunities to write for enjoyment!
Students are not restrcited to set pieces of coursework in this area, they are welcome to write a story, diary, monologue, imaginary or factual report whenever they wish and hand it to their teacher as a piece of Original Writing. They are asked to develop ideas or characters in detail and make their work enjoyable and believeable to read.
