House Matches: These took place in late November and we would like to congratulate all of the students who took part. We fielded full teams in all Year groups with some strongly contested matches. Well done to the year 8 girls and Year 11 boys and girls for winning their respective competitions. A huge thank you must also go to the House Captains for all their efforts in organising the teams.
Presentation Evenings: It was fantastic to welcome back so many of our former Yr 11 students during our recent presentation evening and congratulations go to all of them on their fantastic achievements and awards.
Year 7 Poetry Completion: A number of Year 7 Hunt students received prizes for their entries in the recent Poetry Competition. Freyja Sendell (7HA) and Ryan Hayes (7HA) came 1st and 2nd respectively in the ‘Games’ Category with Georgia Featherstone (7HB), Alienor Golding (7HB) and Freya Poole 7HB also highly commended. In the ‘Similies’ Category Sean Gallagher (7HA) was placed 2nd with Abi Flach (7HA) and Maddison Lewis-Shallow (7HB) also being commended. Huge congratulations go to these students and to all of those whose took the time to enter.
Upcoming Exams: We’d like to wish good luck to all students who are doing exams in January and to the Year 11s who have just successfully completed their mock examinations.
Hunt House PTA: Our P.T.A. has been as active as ever. On the 26th November 53 people joined us for our annual shopping pilgrimage to Harrods. We also held our annual social evening on the 10th November with our now traditional meal and some bowling.
