1 Bill has n badges, Sarah gives him 3 more, how many does he have now?

 

2 Toni has t sweets, John gives her 5 more, how many does she have now?

 

3 Karen has y coins, Peter has twice as many, how many does he have? How many do they have together?

 

4 Dave has P marbles, Jane has three times as many, how many does she have? How many do they have together?

 

5 Brian has F coins, Laura has 3 more than Brian, how many does she have, how many do they have together?

 

6 Susan has n badges, Paul has 4 less than Susan, how many does he have? How many do they have together?

 

7 Jack has t cubes, Zoe has twice as many, how many do they have together?

 

8 Lucy has P badges, Steve has four times as many, how many do they have together?

 

9 Each bag contains n marbles; if Sally has three bags and 4 loose marbles, how many marbles does she have altogether?

 

10 Each bag contains C coins; if Philip has five bags and 7 loose coins, how many coins does he have altogether?

 

11 A bag contains P cubes. If you have two bags but give away one cube, how many cubes do you have left?

 

12 Each bag has m marbles in it. Lisa has 3 bags, Ben 2 bags, Chris one bag and Fiona 4 bags. In a game Lisa loses 5 marbles, Ben won 3 marbles, Chris lost 2 and Fiona won 6 and lost 2 marbles. At the end of the game Lisa and Ben had the same number of marbles. How many marbles did each person finish with?
