Comments ……..

I am looking forward to the adventure of going somewhere with a group of friends to a different culture and the experience of doing a ‘real’ trek. It’s something that I may never be able to do again.

Debbie Bishop

I am looking forward to the social aspect of the trip and the visit to a wildlife park in a very different environment.

Mark Robertshaw

What I am most looking forward to is the trek and the wildlife park visit but also the social side of the visit and experiencing a new culture.

Caroline Smith

The trip will give us a chance to see different cultures on our own. We will be visiting when there are fewer tourists around and everything will seem different to us. I am looking forward to the mountains and the fantastic views.

Sam George

It will be an adventure into the unknown! We will see a huge contrast with the Western world and understand how much we take for granted. It will be experiencing a totally different culture and lifestyle and a good physical and mental challenge.

Alex Townsend

I am mostly looking forward to being independent in a different country and I am hoping to take some spectacular photo’s of the views.

Ben Houseman

It will be a chance to see a different culture and it will be a totally different type of holiday with a new group of friends. The trek will be great and a real physical challenge.

Angela Freke

There is so much I am looking forward to in Sikkim. I love mountains and the trekking part will be one of the highlights for me. I shall remember the friendliness of the people and the fantastic curries! If this trip is anything like the trip to Nepal in 2000 it will be a fantastic experience and I know the group will enjoy every minute. It will be exciting making links with a new school in India and I hope we can learn much from it.

Mr. Webster

I am interested to see how Sikkim has changed since I last visited the area five years ago. I am particularly looking forward to visiting the school and meeting pupils and teachers. After the first training weekend I was impressed with the attitude of the students going on the trip. I think they are a strong group who will be able to rise to the challenges that India will throw at them.
