As part of a programme of events to mark the school in the year 2000, an aerial photograph of the school was taken on Thursday 18^th May 2000.

The photograph included all students and staff in the foreground, spelling out the numbers 2000, with each of the four Houses representing one number.

The school site was in the background.

After the event copies of the photograph were made available to the students as a permanent record of the school in the year 2000.
