FOR CONNIE TUCKER, VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE….. AT THEALE GREEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL

Connie Tucker is a retired local Primary school teacher. She has enjoyed evening classes at Theale Green Community School over many years and has met many interesting people. The classes attended include Yoga, Computing, Cake Decoration, Microwave cookery, Dressmaking, Patchwork, Art for Pleasure, Flower Arranging and Pottery. Connie says, "The skills gained in these classes have allowed me to experience a wide range of hobbies and in some cases to put them to good use for fund-raising events in Theale village.

At present I am helping with the sewing for the local Theale Millennium Community Quilt project.

Maybe next year I will try Jewellery making or Silk Painting or Local History, there are so many choices"!
