NEW DANCER IN RESIDENCE
Hello, my name is Edwina Anthony and I am the Dancer in Residence for this new academic year 1999/2000 at Theale Green Community School.
I have been dancing professionally in the USA for the last 10 years as part of several Contemporary Dance Companies, touring all over America.
I now run the Newbury Contemporary Dance Company and we are currently in rehearsals for local performances to the general public and schools.
My aim at Theale Green is to broaden the dance spectrum here by teaching and performing to all years throughout the school, including GCSE and After School Dance Clubs.
I concentrate on developing creativity in students for them to learn to choreograph their own compositions.
I am looking forward very much to working with all Theale Green students.
