Improvers courses for those with some knowledge who need to improve their confidence

Some of our courses continue for two or three terms, but we always have a range of new courses starting each term. So if there’s nothing in the September programme for you there may be the very course starting in January or April. Watch out for details of our Spring and Summer programmes.

You can find courses that will stimulate your mind, tone or relax your body, unlock your creativity and introduce you to the language and culture of other countries. Self expression through music and art, practical skills such as upholstery and soft furnishing, intellectual challenges like bridge and chess, physical and mental discipline through Tai Chi and Yoga are all on offer through our Adult Learning and Leisure Programme.
