Pupils at Theale Green Community School recently entered the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge with some excellent results. Out of over 180,000 entries from year 8 pupils nationwide, there were particularly outstanding performances from twenty-eight Theale Green School pupils.

George Mason (best in school) and Amy King achieved gold awards. Aron Steward, Katy Moran, Ben Bache, Joanna Healey, James McCairns, Dean Leary, Lucy Brooks, Zaid Moosa and Daniel Clifford achieved silver awards.

The following pupils achieved bronze awards: Anne-Marie Mendonca, Charlotte Bee, Paul Anderson, Kimberley Bird, Sophie Dixon, Laura Henderson, Lisa Wilson-Doyle, Chloe Cane, Crystal Stewart, Nathan Chishick, Matthew Maskell, Lucy-Faye Spence, Jack Koslicki, Christopher Lee, Beth McSoley, Harriet Reeves and Shummi Akthar.
