"A NEW BEGINNING FOR PEACE" – LIONS INTERNATIONAL PEACE POSTER COMPETITION.
Karen Lusted, a 12 year old student at Theale Green Community School recently won the South Chilterns Lions Club local competition open to 11, 12 and 13 year old students.
Andy Bustin, President of the South Chilterns Lions Club, presented Karen with the First Prize and congratulated all the students for their imaginative and thoughtful entries.
Theale Green Community School was presented with the South Chilterns Lions Club trophy.
Highly commended for their efforts were James Webb and Daniel Saxil-Neilsen, both 14 year olds, also of Theale Green School.
Lions Club International sponsored this competition, the twelfth annual one in the series, to emphasise the importance of World Peace to young people everywhere.
