THAMES VALLEY TIGERS ENTERTAIN.

 

Thames Valley Tigers Basketball Team players Tony Christie (left) and Billy Singleton came along to Theale Green Community School’s ‘Book Week’ recently to talk to year 8 students about the importance of reading to them. They spoke about this and how reading can stretch your imagination. They then answered questions about how they had realised their ambitions to become members of one of the top basketball teams in this country.

Both are first year players for the ‘Tigers’ – Billy after playing for other UK teams, whilst Tony has just graduated from University in the United States.
