Enter the Dragon: All the news that is fit to print from Piper House

Mrs Martin: A very sad time for Piper House as Mrs Martin moves on.
She has been an absolute star for Piper House over the last two years. Students and staff will miss her lots – All the best and thank you for everything!

Senior Prefects: The lovely new bunch of Piper senior prefects have been absolutely fantastic, helping out with a whole host of events including; the Scott/Piper BBQ, Year 6 Induction, New Parent’s Evening, Sports Day, etc – a big thank you! A big thank you also goes to the outgoing prefects

A Postcard for Spike: Spike would love to receive a postcard (real or otherwise) from you on your holidays – a design that you bring in next September would be lovely

Assembly News: Thank you for your excellent behaviour in House assemblies this year; I hope you enjoyed some of them…get ready now for our very special ‘Piper is Great’ assembly in September

Work Experience: Congratulations to our year 10s who have just returned from work experience. It went extremely well and I have seen some lovely reports from employers about our students and how well they worked during the week

Team Work Arts Week 2011: Wow! What an Arts Week – all of us working together.

Piper House PTA: We held a fantastic Scott/Piper BBQ earlier this month and it was a great success – thank you for your support. The next meeting will be AGM in September; look out for date and time. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the PTA for their invaluable work during the school year and their fantastic support of Piper House; it does make a difference. Year 6 Induction: September’s Year 7s had a stimulating day at Theale Green taking part in a number of activities including; a quiz, taster lessons, problem solving and a tour of the school

Year 11/12 Induction: It was lovely to see so many brilliant Piper students returning to our sixth form and I look forward to seeing them all in September

Staff: We are very sad to be losing some great Piper tutors this year: Good luck and thanks go to Miss Bell, Mrs Knowles and Miss Spencer. All the very best of Piper Luck goes to Mrs Oliver who is on maternity leave.
